Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to share the news that we have been granted a Category B Academy Licence by the Football Association of Wales.
Following 12 months of hard work behind the scenes, this welcome news will ensure that we can continue to deliver a high-quality programme to young footballers in Pembrokeshire, giving them every opportunity to reach their full potential under the guidance of UEFA-qualified coaches.
Everyone at the football club would like to place on record our thanks to Head of Coaching, Ashleigh Hopkins, Academy Operations Manager, Julie LeGrice, and everyone who played a part in helping to ensure we achieved the Category B status.
Commenting on the news, Head of Coaching, Ashleigh Hopkins, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded a Category B Licence for next season, something which is the result of a lot of hard work from our dedicated Academy staff.
“My thanks goes to everyone involved in the Academy for their effort and commitment throughout the season, and we can now look forward to next season with real optimism.”
Furthermore, we recently confirmed that we will be holding trials for next season later this month, on the 18th and 24th of May.
