Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to confirm that Ricky Watts has agreed a new one-year deal with the club.
Watts, who is the longest-serving member of the current squad, will be heading into his 13th season with the club in 2023-24.
The midfielder, who came through the academy system before making his First Team debut in 2009, has been an integral part of the squad for over a decade.
His positional versatility, which has seen him play multiple roles across the defensive line and in midfield, has proven to be a real benefit to the various managers he has played under, including current boss Tony Pennock, who drew upon his experience on numerous occasions in the season just gone.
The 31-year-old, who is from Haverfordwest, made a total of 23 appearances in all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign, including two cameo appearances in the European play-off victories over Cardiff Metropolitan and Newtown.
His unquestionable commitment to the club has seen him become a firm favourite with the Bluebirds supporters, who can look forward to another season of singing his name at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.
