Haverfordwest County host Pontypridd United at the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Good Friday – and we want to see as many of you there as possible!
Tony Pennock’s Bluebirds currently occupy top spot in the JD Cymru Premier Playoff Conference, thanks in large part to an impressive home record in the league this season.
Saturday’s 2-0 victory away at Flint Town United ensured we kept our four-point advantage over Caernarfon Town with three games remaining, while also extending our unbeaten run to four matches.
The Town have made their Ogi Bridge Meadow home a fortress this season, and have not tasted defeat on their own turf since October 29, when recently-crowned champions The New Saints triumphed 3-1.
With the Bluebirds chasing a coveted European play-off spot, this game could go a long way towards deciding who finishes seventh when the regular season concludes later this month.
The support we have received all season has been fantastic, with our loyal backing enough to see us ranked third for average home attendances in the JD Cymru Premier this season – something which is no mean when you consider this is just just our third season back in the top-flight.
Our matchday experience has continued to improve week-on-week, with an ever-growing vocal support helping to spur the team on, and this is the perfect time to come and experience the atmosphere in what has turned out to be a thrilling conclusion to an unpredictable season!
We welcomed 560 supporters through the turnstiles for our most recent home meeting with the Dragons on New Year’s Eve – our highest attendance at the Meadow this season – and it would be great to see that figure beaten as the Bluebirds continue their quest for a Europa Conference League play-off place!
