Haverfordwest County will be looking to sign off their home campaign in 2022-23 in style when they host Aberystwyth Town at the Ogi Bridge Meadow on Saturday evening.

The Bluebirds, thanks to back-to-back victories and a five-game unbeaten run, are on the brink of securing their place at the top of the JD Cymru Premier Playoff Conference, while the Seasiders are involved in an enthralling relegation battle, which is now certain to go right to the wire.

The Town have come out on top in two of three meetings between the sides this season, most recently in the 1-0 victory at Park Avenue in March, while they also triumphed 3-1 on December 23. The Black and Greens took the spoils back in October, but County’s recent form has seen them pull well clear of their Ceredigion rivals.

Regardless of results elsewhere, a victory in front of the live Sgorio cameras would be enough for Haverfordwest County to rubber stamp their place at the summit of the Playoff Conference. However, should Caernarfon Town fail to defeat Pontypridd United earlier in the day, a draw would be sufficient to secure the same outcome.
