Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to announce a partnership with Welsh Football Fans, which will see them come on board as our community partners.

The popular online platform, which is part of the Eat Sleep Media group, regularly features the game at a grassroots level in Wales.

Having announced their intention to sponsor community-focused football clubs in Wales back in September, they received countless proposals, with teams keen to take advantage of the offer. Having outlined the work we do in the community and what we could offer, an agreement was reached between the two parties.

Welsh Football Fans have over 68,000 followers across their social media platforms, having built up a strong reputation in recent years with their consistent, high-quality output which has filled a space in the Welsh domestic football market.

As part of the agreement, Welsh Football Fans’ logo will feature on every community-related post that is shared on our social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This will include our Tŷ Hapus Early Onset Dementia day service, the Sporting Memories sessions and the work we do with the VC Gallery, who help to combat loneliness and social isolation for veterans and the wider community.

Commenting on the news, Partnerships Manager Wyndham Williams, said: “I am delighted to be working with Welsh Football Fans at what is an incredibly exciting time for football in Wales.

“This collaboration will allow our community work to be shared to Welsh Football Fans’ considerable online following, as we pool our resources to shine a light on how football clubs can help to make a real difference in thieir local communities.”
