Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to announce a partnership with bereavement charity 2wish.

The charity, which was founded by Rhian Mannings MBE in 2012 following the devastating loss of her son, George, and husband, Paul, provides support for those affected by sudden death in young people.

This agreement will see 2wish become our Official Community Partner.

This exciting partnership will see the football club support 2wish by featuring the charity’s logo across our social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

As well as this, we will be helping to promote the many projects 2wish are involved in to help increase awareness and make people aware of the vitally important work they do.

One of these such projects was the recent hike to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Rhian, along with 21 other trekkers, began climbing on October 12th, before completing the mammoth challenge 10 days later. You can find out more about the hike by clicking here.

2wish are the latest addition to the growing list of Community Partners we work with to help promote inclusivity and physical and mental wellbeing.

Commenting on the news, Partnerships Manager Wyndham Williams said: “We are pleased to be supporting such a fantastic charity which does vital work to support parents in such unimaginably difficult times.

“I have seen first-hand the positive impact the charity can have, as they recently helped members of my family, and their support was a real help.

“This latest partnership demonstrates our commitment to working with worthwhile causes in the community, and we look forward to joining forces with 2wish to support their efforts.”
