Haverfordwest County AFC are pleased to confirm the signing of Elliott Dugan on a deal until January, with an option to extend until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

The forward links up with the Bluebirds having most recently played for Portadown in the Danske Bank Premiership, Northern Ireland’s top-flight league.

Dugan, 22, began his career with Swindon Town after being awarded a scholarship with the Robins as a teenager.

The youngster, who hails from Bath, then found internet fame after using LinkedIn to reach out to clubs around the world following his release from the Wiltshire side, with the striker managing to secure a contract with APEA Akrotiri from Cyprus.

After scoring 24 goals in 30 matches in the 2020-21 season, Dugan earned a professional contract with third tier side Kouris Erimis, who he played for between July and December 2021.

The striker’s next challenge came closer to home in the top echelon of Northern Irish football. Dugan was with the Ports from January to July, as they went on to secure safety with victory over Annagh United in a two legged tie back in May.

And he can now add the JD Cymru Premier to his list of experiences, as he arrives at the Ogi Bridge Meadow to bolster our forward options for at least the next few months.
