The company will be working together with the club to offer key digital services into education and businesses in the region. With a broad portfolio of digital tools, resources and platforms, and as a Professional Development Partner for Apple, Google and Microsoft, Aspire 2Be are ideally placed to provide training, CPD and support.

Haverfordwest County has a strong presence both within Pembrokeshire and across Wales. The Community Foundation is an integral part of the club, working closely with schools and businesses to develop community links and support.

Commenting on the new partnership, Community Development Manager Wyndham Williams said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Aspire 2Be for this innovative new partnership.

“Engaging with our community is a huge part of our ethos at Haverfordwest County, and we are looking forward to working with Aspire 2Be to develop digital skills in business and education across our region.”

In order to utilise their excellent community links, Aspire 2Be have teamed up with other club partners such as Great Annual Savings, Achieve More Training and That Football Drawing at the club’s newest initiative, the town centre community space The Nest.

Aspire 2Be will be working closely with the club to introduce opportunities to provide businesses with the chance to invest in their digital competencies. In particular, this partnership will focus on promoting digital skills training to businesses in Wales, with funded opportunities available. This is an initiative made possible through the Welsh Government, who are investing in funded digital skills courses in order to upskill Welsh businesses in the digital sphere.

“We are extremely excited about how we can support Welsh businesses on their digital change and professional development journeys going forward,” comments Aspire 2Be Managing Director, Simon Pridham.

“We are very proud to be working with Haverfordwest County, who hold such strong community values and such a proud heritage. They are such a key part of the business community in and around Pembrokeshire and west Wales, and we feel that this partnership will be one of great mutual value.”
