Haverfordwest County AFC can confirm that First Team Coach, Craig Hanford, will be leaving his role at the club with immediate effect.
The 37-year-old, a former player in the top-flight of Welsh football, joined the Bluebirds’ backroom staff in January.
Hanford, who played for County as a defender in the 2008-09 season, had a focus on strength and conditioning during his five-month spell at the Ogi Bridge Meadow.
He made 34 appearances for the club as we recorded a 7th-placed finish in the then-Welsh Premier League.
During his stint with the club in the second half of last season, he played an important role in monitoring the fitness and workloads of the players during a strenuous period as we battled to survival in the JD Cymru Premier.
The former Carmarthen Town, Afan Lido and Port Talbot Town man was a popular member of the team, as he showed great commitment to travel from Cardiff on a regular basis for matches.
We would like to thank Craig for his efforts during the past few months, and wish him well for the future.
