Haverfordwest County AFC are thrilled to announce that Jordan Davies has made his loan deal permanent by signing a two-year contract with the club.
The striker arrived at the Ogi Bridge Meadow in January, on loan from last season’s champions Connah’s Quay Nomads, and has made a very positive impact on the team over the last few months.
Since joining up with the Bluebirds, the 26-year-old has found the net six times, with his link-up play and, in particular, his speed going forward helping to add an extra dimension to the County attack.
He scored his first goal in Haverfordwest County colours in the 6-1 victory over Cefn Druids, and went on to be a vital part of the Bluebirds’ front line which was able to find the net regularly over the course of Phase Two.
Davies, who has had spells with the likes of Prestatyn Town, Nantwich Town, Telford United and King’s Lynn, quickly settled into the squad and has already become a very popular member of the club.
The forward expressed his delight at putting pen to paper with the Bluebirds, saying: “It was an easy decision for me to make after having conversations with the gaffer and the chairman.
“With the project they are putting together, it was a no-brainer to make my stay with the club permanent. I’ve loved every minute of my time down in Haverfordwest since I joined in January. The boys are immense, a great bunch of lads, the gaffer has been amazing and the fans have been brilliant too.
“Hopefully we can keep everyone together and add a few more players over the summer, and who knows what the future will hold.”
Manager Nicky Hayen shared his elation at the news, adding: “Jordan arrived in January and immediately had a positive impact on the squad. We are really delighted that he has agreed to stay with us for the next two years.
“We look forward to working with Jordan to continue developing him as a player, as we look to push the team to a higher level.”
