Haverfordwest County AFC are delighted to announce the signing of Jamie Veale, who joins the club after leaving Aberystwyth Town.
The midfielder arrives at the Ogi Bridge Meadow on a one-year deal for the 2022-23 season.
Veale, 25, is a product of the Cardiff City academy setup, having joined the capital side in 2003.
Upon leaving the Bluebirds in January 2019, Veale linked up with hometown side Merthyr Town, where he would spend the 2019-20 season before returning to the Welsh system by signing for the Black and Greens in the summer of 2020.

Veale was a regular for the Seasiders in the last two seasons, making a total of 56 appearances in the JD Cymru Premier, netting five goals in that time.
A talented set-piece taker, the midfielder showcased his ability from dead ball situations with a dramatic free-kick goal to salvage a point late on in Aberystwyth’s 2-2 draw with Bala Town in February.
Veale’s audacious lobbed effort from 40 yards against Newtown back in September is a nominee for Sgorio’s JD Cymru Premier Goal of the Season award, a shortlist which also features Ricky Watts – who Veale will join in the Bluebirds midfield next season.
His performances against County in particular were very impressive in the four meetings between the teams last season, and were a key factor in the club deciding to bring him in for next season.
We look forward to welcoming Jamie into the club for next season, and we’re excited to see how he can draw upon his experience in a professional environment to help the club kick on next term.
