Haverfordwest County are in midweek JD Cymru Premier Play-Off Conference action tomorrow night, when we travel to Park Avenue to take on Aberystwyth Town.

The Bluebirds have been on an impressive run of form lately, recording victories in their last three matches in the league, and will be looking to extend the winning streak to four against the Seasiders.

Saturday’s 6-1 victory over Cefn Druids at the Ogi Bridge Meadow saw County leapfrog tomorrow’s opposition in the league table, with Aber’s 2-0 defeat at home to Cardiff Metropolitan meaning they dropped down a place to ninth.

The two sides last met just over a month ago, and couldn’t be separated in a 0-0 draw in Pembrokeshire, with Aber winning the first meeting 2-0 at the start of February.

However, since then, the Black and Greens have failed to win in the league, with the stalemate against County preceding further draws against Bala Town and Cefn Druids, before the defeat against the Archers on Saturday.

Aside from the Druids, who are cut off from the rest at the bottom of the table, the situation in the Play-Off Conference remains tightly-contested, with plenty of movement possible tomorrow night with all six teams in action.

Nicky Hayen’s side could end the night as high as seventh. Should they win and Cardiff Met taste defeat at home to Barry Town United – and the goal difference of three between the teams is overturned – the Bluebirds would go top of the Play-Off Conference. A defeat for County would see them drop back down to ninth, which is the lowest they can end the evening. A draw, meanwhile, would guarantee that we remain eighth.

Key man: Harry Franklin – The winger has put in some impressive displays for the Seasiders in recent weeks. The 22-year-old, who joined Aber from Evesham United in last season’s January transfer window, scored the opening goal in the 3-3 draw with Cefn Druids a fortnight ago, as well as netting in the 2-1 defeat to Bala Town in the JD Welsh Cup. His brace of goals in the 5-0 win over Druids at the end of January preceded an impressive display in the 2-0 win against the Bluebirds a few days later, and he is certainly a player County will have to keep close tabs on throughout the game.
