Haverfordwest County AFC welcome Cardiff Metropolitan to the Bridge Meadow for their second game of the season on Friday, August 20 at 19:45.
Live match updates will be available on our Twitter feed and can also be followed on the Cymru Football app.
Both sides come into the match having tasted defeat on the opening day. Christian Edwards’ men suffered a 5-1 home defeat to Flint Town United with Tom Price scoring a consolation goal for the students.
For Haverfordwest meanwhile, there was a 2-0 defeat at the Oval as Caernarfon Town scored twice in the last fifteen minutes.
Last time out
The Archers claimed a 2-0 win over us at the Bridge Meadow back in April.
Eliot Evans put the Met in front before a Cameron Keetch own goal assured them the points.
Haverfordwest were also on the receiving end of a 6-1 defeat in the earlier game in Phase Two.
There was joy at the Bridge Meadow at least in Phase One as a Danny Williams penalty defeated them in early March.
Summer business
A number of key players have left Cyncoed Campus. Goalkeeper Will Fuller has joined Bath City after ten years of service with the club. Club captain Bradley Woolridge has also departed.
Leading their list of departures is of course Dylan Rees, who has returned to West Wales and is now captain of Haverfordwest.
They have been boosted by the return of Adam Roscrow who returns after a spell in the professional game with AFC Wimbledon.
Left-back Abe Noad has joined from Mangotsfield and Dan Warre has also moved from Chippenham.
The table
After just one matchday in the Cymru Premier, the Met are rooted at the bottom of the table. They conceded five goals and scored once giving them a minus four-goal difference.
Two places above them are Haverfordwest in 10th with a minus two-goal difference.
