Two fantastic goals saw the Bluebirds pick up a point at Park Avenue on Tuesday night.
Despite enjoying the early possession, the Bluebirds were behind inside 10 minutes as Owain Jones raced through down the left and lobbed Gajda from the edge of the area.
The pressure for an equalizer was immediate as Scotcher peppered the Aber box with set pieces, but Connor Roberts dealt with them well. The pressure finally resulted in a goal as Daniel Summerfield clipped a ball over the top which was knocked down by Fawcett, Danny Williams picked up the ball and drove at the Aber defence before squaring to Wilson, who finished neatly into the bottom corner.
Summerfield and Williams were proving to be a handful on the right as they linked up again, Williams back-heeled the ball into the path of Summerfield whose low cross was held by Roberts. Jack Wilson provided plenty of danger with his long throw, one of which was headed narrowly wide by Fawcett.
Despite the Bluebirds pressure, it was Aber who retook the lead as Alaric Jones tripped Jamie Reed in the box. Reed then dusted himself off to score the penalty. However, just two minutes later, Danny Williams beat his man down the left, cut inside and curled a strike into the back of the net off the post to restore parity.
A 6-yard box scramble was the last action of the first half, as Reed poked just wide with plenty of Bluebirds bodies in the way.
Jack Wilson caused problems throughout and just before the hour mark he raced down the left and squared for Fawcett who was inches away from tapping home. Next it was Scotcher to send in a teasing ball and Fawcett was again inches away from tapping home.
The Bluebirds kept piling on the pressure, Fawcett sent a low cross for Shephard, but there was a last ditch block to den the goal. Jack Wilsonโs long throw caused problems again as the ball eventually dropped for Shephard, whose volley was deflected over the bar by Scotcher.
Aber had a chance in the dying embers of the game as a long throw in dropped to Marc Williams at the back post, but he volleyed wide.
The final whilst blew shortly after, with the game finishing 2-2.
The Bluebirds now face Newtown at the Bridge Meadow on Saturday (8th) for a 2.30pm kick off
