A last minute winner from Charley Edge meant that the home side took all 3 points in an entertaining fixture at the Rock.
The Bluebirds started the game by playing some great football straight from kick off. Jazz Richards was sent through on the right and fizzed a cross across the box, but there was no Bluebird touch to poke home. Kurtis Rees then clipped the ball into the box and Fawcett headed straight at the goalkeeper.
However, it was Druids who took the lead as Arsan crossed and Niall Flint powered home. The Bluebirds had plenty of possession but struggled to breakthrough in a half with few chances. Just before the half time whistle, Kieran Lewis headed a Corey Shephard cross onto the post, but the Bluebirds headed in behind at half time.
The Bluebirds came out fighting in the second half, Corey Shephard fires a half volley over then bar, then Fawcett flicked a ball on to Kieran Lewis, who struck from just inside the area but it was a comfortable save for Jones. Fawcett was involved again as Shephard flicked a ball into his path, but he fires wide a few yards from goal.
The Bluebird pressure finally resulted in a goal in the 76th minute as Alaric Jones clipped the ball into the box, a scramble ensued and the ball fell to Danny Williams who fired home. The Bluebirds then piled on the pressure as Corey Shephard fires a volley inches over the bar.
However it was the Druids who scored as Charley Edge raced through one-on-one and finished passed Gajda. Despite late pressure, the Druids held on for all 3 points.
