George Horan and Mike Wilde goals either side of half time were enough to secure all 3 points for the home side.
The first chances of the game came for the home side, firstly Neil Danns headed a cross over the bar, followed by Mike Wilde heading wide from a long throw. Wilde then had another chance as the ball fell to him just outside the 6-yard box but it is straight at Turner.
The Bluebirds keeper was tested for the first time as a Nomads player curled an effort from the edge of the box, and Turner palmed away. Wilde proved a menace in the box and Turner was once again required to save a header. The Nomads took the lead just before half time as Horan finished from a corner.
The Bluebirds were forced into two half time substitutions as Matt Turner and Daniel Summerfield were forced off through injury and were replaced by Gajda and Keetch respectively.
The Bluebirds started the second half better, Corey Shephard hit a speculative bicycle kick that went just over the bar. However, Nomads doubled their lead as Mike Wilde tapped in at the back 15 minutes into the second half. The Nomads continued to pump balls into the Bluebirds box, and it was Horan who was next to head wide at the near post.
The Bluebirds enjoyed much more possession in the final quarter, with Elliot Scotcher shooting over the bar from the edge of the box. Wojciech Gajda pulled off an excellent save as he rushed off his line to deny Morris.
Despite the Bluebirds continuing to battle the Nomads took all 3 points.
The Bluebirds now travel to Newtown next Saturday (27th) for a 2.30pm kick off
